Loving this bike as it really rips both up and down

Initially I couldn't get the small bump compliance I was after so got a Corset can for the Float X and what a difference this has made. Massive improvement with the initial part of the travel not to mention the mid stroke support gains.

Protect the non-drive side chainstay, lots of reviewers had shoe rub issues because of the inboard brake mounting.

Love that frame, but red and black for me please.

Wish they did a 29er version though.

Thanks for the heads up. I'll try to keep her as safe as possible.

29'r

Not for me thanks.

Where did you get the 'Vorsprung Corset' from?

Didn't even know something like this was available for Fox.

I highly recommend this can but beware that it requires 30% - 40% more air pressure in the shock to be setup correctly. So if you are already close to the limits of max pressure in your shock I would look elsewhere.

I weight around 75kg kitted up and went from 160psi to 210psi in the Float X

Howick Enduro?

Indeed. The Howick Mountain Bike club will be hosting their first enduro on Saturday 24 October 2015.

The date is set, the stages are not finalized yet.

Make sure you save the date as it is bound to be a cool event on the "Raw & Unplugged" trails of Howick.

I will (or the Howick Mountain Bike Club) will make a formal post here as soon as all the nitty-gritty details are in place, but for now save the date as that will not be changing.
