Couldn't agree more. Thanks heavens sense is starting to prevail and we're seeing more and more bikes launched with the good ol' faithful threaded BB.

Whatever do you mean? I love my pressfit BB....it has so much character. Similar to an old wooden floor with those charming (not annoying at all) constant creaks.

So finally finished my new build ! Man what a bike !!!! First ride thismorning blew my mind . My previous bike was a Pyga 120 , not bad on the trails . This is just on a whole new level !

Holy Moly!

That is one seriously good looking bike you got there dude!

Like I always tell my wife, "laaste koop bokkie, as ek die een het sal ek nooit weer nog n fiets nodig he nie"

Judging by the saddle height you're waaayyy too big for that frame so let me know if you want me to take the problem off your hands.

Long legs unfortunately. According to Evil it's the right frame size for me . The seat tube ends terribly low . Would probably be better off on a large frame if any one wants to swap? Haha .

Still early days. Cockpit is a bit short for Enduro. Longer stem might do the trick.

Weight not measured very accurate but it seems to be under 15kg.

Enduro or DH? Are you planning on doing general riding with that beast?

One local on our trails runs a 160mm Pike on his Giant Glory with a Vivid Air on the rear.  Swears it's fine...not so sure about that, but hey, he still makes me look like I'm standing still going up and down.

Saw it at Jonkers yesterday. Bottom of firehuts if I recall correctly.

A friend of mine use to ride a Session with a 160mm fox 36 too.

He did for quite a while before changing bikes.

if it's a 27.5 Pike 160 then the A2C measurement is only 16mm lower than a Boxxer, going by what I can see on Le Google. So it won't mash that much up in his geo, and the head angle will be brought up to modern #enduro standards, more or less.

Plus he'll have more squish for when it goes REALLY wrong...
