StevieL Posted July 19, 2013 Posted July 19, 2013 There is a relatively large group of riders about 3'00" behind the peloton that is 11'00" behind Hesjedal. Included in this 'grupetto' is the 2011 Tour champion Cadel Evans who is now riding along with sprinters like Mark Cavendish... Oh, Cadel...
Bub Marley Posted July 19, 2013 Posted July 19, 2013 Thanks Cadel for providing us with this years comedy moments.
Eugene Oppelt Posted July 19, 2013 Author Posted July 19, 2013 (edited) Thanks Cadel for providing us with this years comedy moments. His last Tour. He'll be very disappointed. Achievements wise - one of the special talents around with several GT podiums and rainbow colours in both road and MTB. Wow! RESPECT Edited July 19, 2013 by ' Dale StevieL 1

SwissVan Posted July 19, 2013 Posted July 19, 2013 No. I think they quite cool, suits him...all though I don't think I would cycle with them much prefer a smaller shape that doesn't make me look like Bennie boekwurm. Normally if i'm riding and kakking uphill the sunglasses are the first thing I ditch (put into the back pocket), feels more comfortable when compared to wearing glasses and sweating behind them StevieL 1
T-Bob Posted July 19, 2013 Posted July 19, 2013 Apparently there is a storm in someones tea cup about 'berto's bike changes being legal yesterday.  --------- "According to Velo News, each of Contador's bikes was weighed, and each was found to be exactly 6.8kg," writes Pat Pen. They wrote: 'Contador made two bikes swaps during the stage, one prior to the first ascent up l’Alpe d’Huez, and one on the flat road before the second accent. The bike checks were announced between the two swaps, leading to speculation that Contador was forced to back off a long-range attack to swap back onto a UCI-legal bike for the finish climb. That doesn’t appear to be the case. UCI technological coordinator Mottet confimed with VeloNews that both of Contador’s bikes were checked following the stage, and both came in at exactly 6.8kg'."
