Cippo Posted July 11, 2013 Posted July 11, 2013 Kittel the new 'Boss'. Good that Sagan is consistent so that he remains unchallenged in points competition.
The Ghost Posted July 11, 2013 Posted July 11, 2013 Cav's top end speed is just unmatched. No way to come around the Missile. Are you taking the p!ss?(Sorry, but he isnt gonna get away from that for the rest of the tour)
'Dale Posted July 11, 2013 Author Posted July 11, 2013 Is it just me or is Sagan getting himself into poor positions in the sprints this year? It seems like he finds himself behind lead out riders that are pulling out and slowing down. His lead out is relatively poor this year.It leads him to rather follow the wheel of a contender. Also, the finishes are not at such an incline as last year where most of his successes have been. He's hard to beat up a lil' gradient from a power sprinting point of view. The Ghost and Andrew Steer 2
urbanroyal Posted July 11, 2013 Posted July 11, 2013 And now my decoder is scanning .....eish ..well done Kittel...Cav must be p*ssed .... :-)
'Dale Posted July 11, 2013 Author Posted July 11, 2013 Impey 6th. Go boytjie! Nicely done! Where the heck is Matt Goss for Orica?Oi
'Dale Posted July 11, 2013 Author Posted July 11, 2013 Are you taking the p!ss?(Sorry, but he isnt gonna get away from that for the rest of the tour) I thought Cav took it watching here on the gym telly at a wicked angle.Good to see new winners emerging. Cav will be crying in his pillow tonight.
'Dale Posted July 11, 2013 Author Posted July 11, 2013 Kittel 3Cav 1Sagan 1Greipel 1 Numbers right? That is impressive from Argos. Admittedly, today, they had the best leadout train over the final few hundred metres.Says a lot about their skill and organisation.
eeeek Posted July 11, 2013 Posted July 11, 2013 who went down from Orica? think svein tuft went down at the circle
gummibear Posted July 11, 2013 Posted July 11, 2013 think svein tuft went down at the circle Eish....he's going to have some roasties after that slide
shaper Posted July 11, 2013 Posted July 11, 2013   His lead out is relatively poor this year.It leads him to rather follow the wheel of a contender. Also, the finishes are not at such an incline as last year where most of his successes have been. He's hard to beat up a lil' gradient from a power sprinting point of view. Rumour has it that Cav will have Renshaw leading him out soon, will be bringing him into the team
dev null Posted July 11, 2013 Posted July 11, 2013 That bunch crash took out most of Greipel's team, including himself, else the bunch sprint would have been way more hectic.
Tubehunter Posted July 11, 2013 Posted July 11, 2013   Rumour has it that Cav will have Renshaw leading him out soon, will be bringing him into the team This was reported yesterday. The source seemed legit! 2014...
igknot Posted July 11, 2013 Posted July 11, 2013 Little has cavendish as part of his train. What more can a sprinter ask for
