DJ84 Posted July 12, 2013 Share Its going to be interesting to see how they all attack Froome here,He will surely be alone halfway up unless Porte has some gas left. Conto and that little Quintana will make a few quick attacks im sure. Edited July 12, 2013 by DJ84
Tubehunter Posted July 12, 2013 Share Sunday is going to be a very important stage! No hiding on those slopes! Will any of the GC contenders be prepared to roll all their dice to see what will happen hoping to recover enough on the monday?? That could make for some exciting events on the run up to the finish! So far no one has come up with a formula to beat Sky or Froome however stage 9 (also coincidently on a Sunday) has shown how it could be achieved...by attacking Sky early in the stage and not leaving it until the last climb. Teamwork between the various teams (Spanish speaking ones plus a one or 2 others like Garmin) might well be required. I'm nervous in anticipation, can you imagine how Froome and Sky must be feeling? splat Posted July 12, 2013 Share I don't know if this has been discussed yet, but does anyone else think that Cavendish has lost his edge? I mean, he left Sky last year in a big huff because their green jersey aspirations didn't match his, so here he is with a whole team dedicated to him and he doesn't seem to be doing any better. Are the other just better? Or has the whole team and lead-out not reached full potential yet? Your thoughts?

No I don't think so, there can only be one winner and there are quite a few challengers out there. Winning at that level requires all your planets to be in a line and not everyone can get that all the time. Maybe he should just follow another lead out train instead of his own?
