So now all the teams know Froomes power profile and how many watts less he can put out in 60 minutes vs 20 minutes. Are all the other top riders going to follow suit..?

Yip, then the Tour can just be a lekker big chess game for all the DS's with the riders on trainers... they'll save a friggin fortune!!

Yep your right and i get that first bit 100%

And i doubt that Froome actually said AC should back off and not contest the race.

Its all open to interpretation, depending mostly on the interpreters partiality....

Also doubt CF said that, that was my sarcastic/rhetorical question. The point I am trying to make is that CF cannot moan/talk about others taking uncalculated risks (in his opinion) in an effort to win back time (He probably would in the same situation). He should know that they WILL do that and he should respond/react appropriately ON THE ROAD. The press room is not the best place to do that as it will be seen as whining/crying.

Might be time for retirement me thinks?

Agree with you, it will be a long day in the saddle today and I won't be surprised to see him getting into the car soon.

and it looks like it is raining at the top of du'ez

just love how the breaks are coming thick and fast.

News just in: The ASO has noted the riders' concern about the descent on today's stage. However, instead of shortening the stage and cutting up the descent, there will be a speed limit imposed in a bid to prevent riders taking uncalculated risks.

Whahahahaha! :whistling:
