I used to carry bombs but they solidify your stans - now have a small 90g can of special butane gas in saddle bag made for mtb tires - does no damage to your sealant and doers not leak once opened so connector remains on it till you need again. And it weighs almost nothing!

That plus tire levers, multitool, spare chain link, tjoob and small bottle stans for longer rides.

I just filled my tyres with Ryder's new latex sealant, apparently this does not solidify with co2 bombs.

Apparently if you running stans or similar fluid you can just use string to fit holes and the Stan's saturates the string and sorts it out - no need for those specialist tubeless plugs

I'd be interested to hear Ryder's explanation for that claim. Is the latex in some other kind of solution?

In fact I'd be very interested because I just found a massive lump of rubber in a wheel that has never been near a bomb...

Apologies for the hijack.

Yea need to get me a lightweight pompie...I don't mind helping someone with their own stuff...its more when I get a blank stare when I ask the other person for a bomb or tjoob.

PS I would carry a tjoob...gives you more options

I just googled tjoob at work at Google returned results about a pornstar!

I carry plugs, glueless patches a spare tube and 1or 3 co2 cartridges depending if im carrying camelbak or not. I use joes or stans sealant, very happy so far.C02 is just incase i need to reseat the tyre on the trail, did it twice on two different bikes.I had a cut on the side wall on a non ust tyre that needed a patch,i used a ravx glueless patch, patched on the inside then continued the ride.
