So changes for this year in the PDS

  • New DH track in Les Gets
  • New Slope-style track in Les Gets for Crankworks
  • New lift and therefore new trails on the Zore side of Morzine
  • Trails in Le Crosets and Champery getting a makeover
  • Nico Vink giving the trails in Chatel a once over
  • Lifts close 11 September

This in addition to alllllll of the brand new stuff in Les Gets, Zore and Pleney last year.

Having said all that. Pleney Black.....

I'm so bummed we aren't going this year.

Somebody PLEASE give me a compelling reason not to take my gorgeous girlfriend to France for a week in September.

Self catering little apartment in Morzine

We take the Mountain bikes.

Rent a road bike for a day or 2

I'm not an addict. (twitches eye)

2. Errrr...wait, wait, let me think.....

3. Visas...errr no still valid....

4. She doesn't ride...errr no re-read your question...

5. You gonna double bunk with the boys at Nantegue...errr no, just re-read your question.....

6. I GOT IT...you leaving your mates behind...that's it, that's the one.......

7. Cancel all of the above, she rides, you can go!!! No excuses!

In 4 weeks, we fly  :w00t:   :w00t:

Who is we? Where you staying? DETAILS MAN!!!

My fiance and I are staying about 3 blocks back from Pleney on that road towards Les Gets.

Got a great little self caterer for 6k for the week. Sounds a lot but that's cheaper than what I paid for Afriski and the location is about 600000000 times better.

We arrive on Sept 4th. It's VERY late and the lifts officially close on the 4th. But I have been told the Les Gets and Pleney lift will still be operational and there's a possibility Super M and Zore will also be running.

If they DO close on the 4th we'll just take the roadie bikes and bang out some Alpine road riding.

WAIT!! Who typed that last sentence?

I have gotten final confirmation from Avoriaz and Les Gets that the lifts will be closing on the 28th of August and 4th of Sept respectively.

Which means we're taking the roadie bikes. It's going to be quite an experience riding up the road to Avoriaz with the tour having gone through there just over a month before.

Please take some photos for me. Laptop and phone got swiped out my car at the gym and lost all my photos from my Morzine trip Pretty bummed about that.

You will need to lose the moffy full face helmets and pads to make them look more authentic. :whistling:

But then I wasn't running any black tracks either!

Super jealous of everyone going !!!

One day when I am big I will have to go back.
