DR ◣◢ Posted June 6, 2013 Share Speaking of SS I have a red Fireeye spacer kit with a Halo 19t cog and a Gussett SS chain for sale. Also have a Fireeye 18t cog. Inbox me yo!
Polo Posted June 6, 2013 Share Get one of these http://www.on-one.co.uk/i/q/FROOSSLTD29/on_one_inbred_29er_single_speed_ltd_edition Pretty sweet and its steel with sliding dropouts. Nice carbon fork http://www.on-one.co.uk/i/q/FOOOCAR/on_one_carbon_fork I'm sure you can source the other stuff in the classifieds section - well priced brakes are a bit scarce though. I've been doing some research myself...

Eldron Posted June 6, 2013 Share Ahhh single speeding - what fuzzy logic. I refused to ride a carbon mtb but have a rigid carbon fork on my SS which is steel. To fix this little idiosyncracy I bought a Niner Air 9 RDO and a SIR with a steel fork. Seemed like the right thing to do :-) janneman72 and divernick
Ryanpmb Posted June 6, 2013 Share Getting a SS...you are doing it wrong Build one up from scratch, source components individually...make it exactly the way you want it...Its half the fun, I promise. What he said... rouxtjie
Eldron Posted June 6, 2013 Share What he said... What they said. Sure you can buy an SSer off the shelf but it's just not the same. Vanilla versus triple choc strawberry with a hint of LSD. jcmeyerSS, rouxtjie and Ryanpmb

rouxtjie Posted June 7, 2013 Share bull****. There is no rule for SS. Build or buy it doesn't matter. As long as you have an awesome time riding it! PS. Just sold mine.Sure there are no rules but the building up of SS makes it a labour of love so to speak, you invest time and money making it look exactly the way you want it and the end result is something that you love dearly. Without waxing lyrical, I think you are taking half the fun away by just going and buying one. But that is just me Ryanpmb
