Have not watched the series but read all of the Jack Carr books, not bad. Suppose like the series it is a bit of "mindless" reading, can just coast through it.
It is no coincidence that James Reece shares the same initials as Jack Reacher of Jack Ryan. Same same, just different.........

some critics slammed it as Right wing/conservative warmongers wetdream of violence and revenge. If the shoe fits i guess.

However, i enjoyed it as a skop skiet and donner classic. Some genuinely shockingly and creatively violent scenes.

Have not seen the series but read the books, I thought the plot was maybe a bit generic but that the premise was pretty cool.

Very similar style to Rick & Morty (thanks to Justin Roiland). In some ways I prefer it to the more recent seasons of Rick & Morty as they try too hard to be insane, or try carry a joke to long. Personal preference (like I prefer American Dad to Family Guy for similar reasons), but enjoy all of the above.

Worth a watch for those who have not seen it before but like a bit of odd sci-fi-ish humour.

hot on the heels of Season 2 of Devils  comes season 2 of Industry.
Both shows are premised on the cut-throat world of finance, Devils is the mafia , gangster in a suit version to Industry's less-glossier side of things. It's HBO ofc.

Season 2 of Ragnarok: brilliant once again. warning,it's very very binge-friendly ;)

Others may have commented on it before, but of the best weekly viewing i've had the pleasure of, was For All Mankind. that show has serious good story-telling chops.

And as heads-up to the fans of season 1, first 2 eps of Season 2 of War of the Worlds, the euro-version, is available. Easily, the best serialized adaptation by far!

Season 3 of War of the Worlds just emerged
Quite a nice surprise as I wasn't expecting it at all!
