Capricorn Posted October 7, 2015 Share Homeland's season 5 started recently, and i think its got its edge back. That whole dragged out affair with Brady was initially of interest, but it meandered into nowhere. thank heaven's they killed it off. literally. Swinging from a crane by your neck will do that. Just why did it take 3 seasons!! anyway, edgy start. bang up to date with the situations around the world. should be good. I see madame Secretary is back again. I quite liked the first season. Does help that Tia Leone is super easy on the eyes, but the series was quite watchable. As for my epic X-Files rerun mission, I can see why the series tapered off from season 7 onward: disappearance of Mulder. While I can watch the show with Scully in the frame, sound off, video paused, the loss of Mulder from the roster actually has a significant impact on the dynamics between the lead actors. Its like something's missing, sum of the parts greater than the whole kind of situation. But i have to put the brakes on and drag things out till the 2016 reboot airs.
