The stand from Mica is a Torq Craft I think. Will go look in garage. Bought one, its great, R699, comes with a device that holds handlebar straight as well. Will post pics.

Wouldn't you sleep better by clamping the seat post instead of the carbon frame?

Nah, it is perfect for that diameter tube. But its a china frame in any case , walls are about an inch thick. My RB has to be clamped by the seat tube.

That Torq Craft one doesn't look too bad for the money.

It looks almost exactly like the Ryder one in fact.

Sorry to mention china again. But check out these stands on aliexpress. They look the same to the Ryder ones as well. There a guy on the hub selling them to. Only problem now is the dollar exchange rate

If you're after a Ryder work stand, look for TOM EZEKIEL on thehub - he can get you one for R950.

I got one this week, very decent and solid quality. The frame clamp could be a little stronger, but still worth the money IMO.

Is this the one you saw at Midas?MICA. I bought one at a show at the Dome recently for R699.00... agents are Hardware Centre in Randburg 011 791 0844. It's not bad, definitely worth the pricepost-31807-0-61374500-1371747748_thumb.jpgpost-31807-0-61267000-1371747799_thumb.jpg

That's the one.

Any one made their own stand - parktool is flippen expensive

I made a wall mounted Caddy attachment and then just plugged the caddy into it when I needed it - worked OK

I tried the Caddy way, but the problem is that your rear deraiilier cable gets pinched so you can't adjust your gears on the stand. These "pro" stands have a groove to keep that cable free so you can.

Northcliff Cycles have the Tork one in stock but Mica price is better
