I like the Endura Singletrack baggies. Meester Fantana, where you get yours from.

CRC, R850, landed.

I have three pairs, and use each pair at least once a week, three years and still going strong.

I own two pairs of Endura DH shorts. Both are super comfy on long rides and they support the Endura clip-in liners. I don't bother with the built in stuff as I prefer the fit and function of a bib.

The Humvees are great value for money. If only i can find a pair in JHB :o

Cycle hub at rietvlei has humvee's in stock

Also have some nice pearl Izumi if you don't want pockets

Agree fully on the Endurance Singletracks (singletrack 2 to be exact). Nothing I've tried even comes close. I bought a pair of the clip-on inners too. Not bad, but you're better off with a decent bib underneath. Bought from Evans in the UK.

fox ranger are my current favorite, scooped them on evans for about R350 a couple of months ago.

Prior to that endura singletrack and humvee.

As for padding , Ive been using bibs underneath or endura liners.

Baggies with padding built in have to date, always sucked.

Anatomic make really good ones and the price does not bankrupt you. Go directly to the Anatomic factory shop.

Thanks Greybeard, we do always try offer great value for money

We're also busy developing a new, higher end baggie short. As always, 100% locally made and hopefully great value to you guys. Watch this space!

Would love to see that. Hope you've been doing heaps of research and looking at what makes the preferred shorts here tick.

What's the cheapest baggies one can get? I wear them for commuting to work for no reason other than I don't want to walk down the office corridores in lycra.

I don't want to pay R700 just for that 30sec walk of shame from the corridore to the bathroom.

I bought a set for R149 at Mr Price Sport and after 4 years are still going strong. They, unfortunately no longer sell them.

I think Endura make the best value baggies. R600 for the Humvees at my LBS. I haven't used their liner though, since I just wear my really old bibs underneath.

I need a second pair of shorts - which shop did you get yours?
