So Saturday me, my brother and a mate went to the start of the trail. Myself and brother leaving our steeds with our mate while we cleared the trail. And i must say this was planned and the people who done it has taken alot of time and effort to do so. Some of the logs and rocks we could not simply just roll away they needed to lifted and moved....

We must of cleared close to a 100 rocks and logs stick and branches. Made me wonder many a times if the trail was actually a rideable trail.

Anyway since Saturday the trail is open and clear. Enjoy!!!

Thanks Meezo

We also did some clearing Friday morning before work, but very quickly realised that we would be there for some time still, so planned to do more work this week.

Now all we have to do this week is play :) a big thanks to you guys!

strange, if you cleaned it up Friday, and we Saturday, means there is someone going there everyday to block it?

There is no way we made much impact the two of us as there was just way too much debris on the trail, hence us planning to come back this week ..... now all we have to do is play :)

How about one of those Table Mountain cams located near here to pic up who it could be?

the people (idiots) going to all the effort of blocking these paths are probably the same people taking their dogs for a walk on the mountain and leaving steaming piles of **** all over. i rode on the mountain last week for the first time in a long while and the amount of doggie do was disgraceful. and to think the dog-walkers in that area all (mostly) live in those big fancy mansion sticking to the side of the mountain. money doesn't buy class.

Especially the deer park area. We also picked this up...

Wonder if @kandui can't get a sign up for this trail? Maybe not worth it, ??? It's only about 100-200m long.....

Can someone take a pic of the cleared trail and post it?

We will be there Wednesday morning .... just hope that we remember to stop and take the pics.

Shot guys! Since my fall there I've been giving that single track a skip. Will join the Wednesday ride, but doubt that I'll hit it. Although, perhaps without the obstacles and with my dropper post it should be safer now. With the obstacles you had to take such a straight angle of attack that it made the trail effing steep.

Now only if i knew exactly where this is, I often ride Rhodes to Tafelberg road but i'm still unfamiliar with the different trails & various routes. Which group is doing this anytime soon again as I would like to join time, starting & ending off point dependant. Thanks.

Yes, looking at it now, saw it on your signature but still can't pin point exactly, will probably find it with a bit of exploring on my own but too risky riding on my own just better to join a group who knows it well.
