It was a hardcore event i didnt want folk coming up to me at other places to talk about it. Still wear a 70s-style Liverpool shirt regularly, but didnt play for them.........that often. flyluis Posted July 2, 2013 Posted July 2, 2013 I've done it, therefore I will buy the kit. waited till now for it to go on special so i ordered and paid yesterday. If I haven't done the race I won't wear the kit, think it should be a unwritten rule between cyclists. M L 1

Me thinks not ..... Edited - Boris beat me to it ... Nope, definitely not, but he wont even ride in the rider kit cause he feels he didn't finish it.

Hectic what a cycle race can do to people.

Its a show of achievement, like national stripes. I see your point but merchandising for a team sport is a different thing. I still feel the players should receive a unique version.
