I don't understand why must the person who completed the Epic race, must buy "special top". They should get it for free, because they pay thousands on entry fee???? Epic is becoming worst ripp-off and is only for the people who have millions.... Sad! How can average person show he can do well....

I saw a design for The Hub cycling top at Anatomic..

How do I go about getting one of those beauties?

You need to know Admin's full name first :whistling:

Ok so I am against wearing Epic kit if you did not do the race. Am I a hypocrite for wearing a Festina Tour de France edition watch?

Depends if you doped in the 90's...

Nope! Only started around 2010. So I guess I am fine then.........

No man, you're a fake. If you didn't dope in the 90's or have an 'affair' then take that watch off and stop pretending. Pah.

let me get this straight.

If you've done the epic you can keep the sticker on your bike, (by done, I mean paid your entry).

You are now one of a select group. 10 years at 1200 per year means there's probably about 5000-6000 people who have entered the epic. So it's not such a big deal anymore to have the sticker on your bike. But hell, sell some replica kit to get your brand out there and these okes will koop.

If you've done(in this case, completed) three, you are a automatically a member of amabhubhesi. This is a fictitious club, with no entrance fee or id cards. There's probably about 200/300?? people in this club now. Why is this kit even for sale? Surely it should be given out to you as you cross the line on your third event.

Apart from the Ama-i'vefinished3epics-babusi kit, wearing an epic branded cycling shirt or bib short is no worse than wearing team replica kit from a pro tour team. It's all about brand building and showing who/what you support. Nowhere on the kit does it say "finisher", it's just branded kit.

The finishers T-shirt should only be worn if earned. But not too often as washing it spoils the printing and the colour fades....
