People people - its a 60mm "light technical" fork. Dirt roadie use, single track etc. It eats up rutted road, small bumps and rumbley stuff better than any other fork out there - it isn't designed to be the "one fork to rule them all".

Much like 26 650B 29 debate the fork has its place. Enduro and DH are not its place.

Edit: I'm also not sure it'll work well on duallie frames. 60mm front with 100mm rear is not going to handle well. My opinion is: hardtail bike for fast light technical racing.

Crater cruise, sani2c, joberg2c, cape epic, 36One that kinda of stuff.

And how about for the Freedom Challenge........Nice and light......minimum weight.....will it take the punch......

I have a Carbon Green (black and green) one for sale if anyone is interested. Regular Spring weight. PM me if you keen. (Will have to check what the steerer has been cut to.)

29er or 27.5?

So cheesy that attempt at a "review".

no Nico I did not call it a review

I said this was my findings

Obviously the stupidest thing I have ever done.I was just very taken with this fork esspecially not given it much chance at first glance.

And I now can see why hubbers might think that I am the local ditributor

Luckely in the meantime this guy called Technix answered that uncertainty.

So I do not have to prove my non involvement anymore.

And don't feel the need to engage in this stone thowing any further.

What I said about the other well renowned riders, professional couches and engineers is all true. But again dragging them into this without their concent would make things even worse for me at this stage.

Hope you can understand it from yjphis perspective

Best wishes

Best part is how the two ganged up on us, new thread with new poster and another new poster giving his forced opinion .

Same day .

Come now, no one gangs up on the sheriff and hairy. Well not if they want to come out in one piece on the other end!

Hair and myself are Laufers and not fighters, we can't even knock a fly off the wall.

I am just miserable that these things don't come with a straight steerer tube option  :cursing:  :cursing:

Etc.

Satan

Excuse our suspicion, but let us look at just a few points.

On your own version, you are an experienced cyclist having ridden sufficient different suspension forks to qualify you to compare them to the Lauf fork, and express an opinion.

You have clearly been around for a while, and you are also obviously someone not affraid to take a position on a matter, put you argument forward and defend it vigorously. The kind of guy who adds vibrancy to a forum.

The Hub has been around for over a decade.

Yet, in all this time, nothing that has happened in the cycling world has interested you enought to pass comment. No product, no event, no trauma when one of us died or joy when one won an international event has moved you sufficiently to post anything.

Then you hop on and plug a new product extensively, comprehensively and shamelessly.

Pull the other one if you think we are so easily fooled.

Kinda makes me think that we are not worthy .

I would have loved to have had some extensive knowledge on forks and would have loved to have ridden as many different forks .

Forkit  :cursing:

It's getting difficult to find straight steerer forks these days. Looking for one for a niner ss build, this would have been very interesting.
