Very nice. Didn't you have Mielensteins?

No matter how hard I try, I cant get mine as hot as yours  :cursing:

Mine comes to 6.78kg with pedals,Garmin mount and b/cages.

(Proper setup done after that pic and saddle replaced)

Not sure if I should keep it or buy a Canyon...

  • 1 month later...

This has been a work in progress for a long time, after initially getting it and putting tubulars on it and changing some parts I thought I was done, then the weight weenie in me took hold. The bike currently stands at 6.945kgs in 56cm. I still have a couple of changes to come, and will hopefully sneak under the magical 6.8kg mark. I have reverted back to clinchers, and now changed the brake caliper so, saddle, all bolts to Ti, pedals have been changed from keo max to carbon blades with Ti axles. I await delivery of a new lightweight cassette and chain. Sadly my 9gram a piece bottle cages were ruined in delivery, so I'm hoping the seller will send some new ones to me, or I'll be forced to go back to the original bontrager XXX light at 14g a pop.

The disappointment at taking some super nice cages out of a box to find each one cracked in at least 3 places was huge. I have contacted the seller, and so far they have been helpful, I'm hoping they resolve this with little issue.

Thank you, the hope is to finish as close to 6.8kgs as possible, I think it can be done. I have see smaller frame sizes of this bike built to 6.32kgs, but that's a mark I would not be able to reach.
