wynandvdmerwe Posted September 5, 2013 Share That bike has been winning a couple of races lately. At TDF Sagan's Dale and Froome's yellow Pinna was the most looked at, I am sure! Edited September 5, 2013 by wynandvdmerwe
mon-goose Posted September 5, 2013 Share my first real bike was a blue cannondale criterium in about 1993. Was aluminium and compact angles... really loved that bike and at the time I regret changing it.

Two questions: 1. What a stunning bike - love the Web design, how could you sell it?2. What did you replace that with? Was a stunning bike. Had some finance issues to scrap $$ together to buy a house.Once we settled in I had to go for the 29er thing. ITCHING to get the new 'Dale sprayed. hehehehhehe

awesme Posted September 5, 2013 Share Cannondale Owners. My wife has recently surprised me and indicated she loves the look of the Scalpel. Shock horror surprise... She's never indicated any liking to any bike, she just rides her bike (a Merida atm) with no question. We mostly do Rietvlei and some outrides to Blockhouse, 40-70km. Social weekend worrier. I mix in some Thaba, modderfontein etc, would like to involve her also a bit more. We've agreed we'd like to do a Sani2C at some point... How does the Scalpel fit this. Because of budget it will most likely be the Scalpel 3, with some personal touches added, and oh when it happens will be a surprise to her. Nice Scalpel up for sale there with sexy added spares. That said, Scalpel is a full on duel suspension which will work perfect for stuff like the Sani. The 3 is aluminium as far as I know so not the lightest out there but built for performance none the less.I did the Epic and the Joberg2C on an Aluminium scalpel. No issues. Enjoy the shopping! awesme
