M L Posted July 27, 2013 Posted July 27, 2013 Went to bmt to swap out my test saddle for the next one, walked out with the henge and some endura hummvee baggies. Went from there to ride with a buddy, was about 3 hours long and I thought these things are fantastic. They are comfortable, even though the liner's padding is thin, there is room for all the parts to move and don't know why but for the first time I didn't get any chaffing whatsoever. Got home, took out the liner and showered with it, next day another test ride, this one ended up being close to 4.5 hours. First time I can ride for this long and still forget I am sitting on a saddle. The liner has this sort of mesh material and sheds heat very well so you don't sweat that much. So apart from the comfort factor (this counts a lot in my book), it has lots of pockets, zips and holes. I can put my phone in one, gel in another, one bomb in another and still not feel like I am carrying lots of stuff. Lastly, they are tough shorts , so next time I fall I will not be -1 bib. Anyhow, just wanted to let you guys know that I have found the most comfortable mtb short for me that is only R800.

pierremerv Posted July 27, 2013 Posted July 27, 2013 I bought 2 x pairs the other day from Greg Minnaar Racing and did Dusi2C with them. Was very comfortable for me. As mentioned they are quite tough too. I use them for downhill as well.

DJR Posted July 27, 2013 Posted July 27, 2013 I have a pair in camo and it is ice cold cool. Great for looks, works well on normal trail and all mountain rides of 2-3 hours, but for the long enduro rides of 4 -6 hours, I wear bibshorts and nothing else.

But on the pants, I have two pairs, they are really great. I ordered from CRC, paid a LOT, but living where I do, would've spent a lot on fuel to go and specifically but kit anyway.

DR ◣◢ Posted July 28, 2013 Posted July 28, 2013 Ive got 2 pairs of the Endura DH shorts. Did an Enduro with them and they are my regular shorts in winter. Brilliant comfort and very strong. Will get Humvees for summer.

Brian Fantana Posted July 28, 2013 Posted July 28, 2013 Whats the difference between Singletrack and Zyme? The Zyme is slightly longer, and made from thicker material. The singletrack is a very light and tight fitting baggy.
