I would like to know how can work out who did what km's in the race. I did 31 some did 38 others did 49. We got guys from our club who did the full route but are still getting averaged WTF!!!!

This is terrible . I am sure I would have been in the 243th place before this , I am going to the pub now to drown myself !!! What would my friends say if they ever gotta find out , the horror . I will also seek proffesional help tomorrow to overcome this injustice that I had to endure .

The **** that calculated these results needs to be pushed down a flight of stairs!!!

What a complete and utter ballsup!!

After I had finished, put down my bike chatted a bit and finished my drink... then I saw another mate come in so I ran down to the finish to call him and show him where we all were.

These ****** say he came in 9 minutes before me........

How the **** does this work..... Marty McFly and that Delorean he rides clearly has nothing on me and my bicycle

I did 45km under 3 hours with my own timing. Their "recalculated" results gave me 43km in over 4 hours . Geez that's pretty crappy maths going on there.

Clearly if you did the full route you are getting penalised! I rather they scrap these results imho.

They used averages for the distance greater than 30km, so you lose out if you faster than the average.

It's like the ANC's wealth distribution theory applied to race times....

Yea but that doesn't make sense, how do they know who rode more than 30km? Clearly they are taking your final time and dividing it by 30km to get the average. Then they calculate it back to 43km. So only the people who rode +- 30km would get a correct average...

This is how they did mine:

They ASSUMED i only did 30km and took 3hrs . My average is suddenly 10km/h (instead of 15km/h). Project that back to 43km and voila suddenly it took me over 4hours .

How on earth are these guys gonna figure out who took the shortcut and who didn't?! I rode past riders from A batch that I had passed right at the start of the race!

Results for the 50 should just be null and void, riders should receive an apology and a discount on the next entry.

you mean you would actually consider going through all this again?

So it was actually our own fault we went the wrong way I see ..... ag well like my mate DirtRider I was a bit miff straight after but I'm over it and just move on.

Best not to enter any more events then as my ability to memorise the route up front is crap, I am getting on in years though ....... *smk*

Results are a joke... Yoland speedy is not even in top 50... B group riders fill the top 50... I was just behind Yoland and can't recall a B group rider pass me... Would prefer they scrap this... Maybe it's not that important... I commend the guys for doing the local races as we need more but maybe there needs to be better organization with less numbers...

My final calculated time and average is about 0.2km/h different from actual on my computer.

Can't complain about this.

What bothers me is that a bunch of us lost about 5 to 10 minutes at the marshal 2km from the finish.

Same here..we stood at the gate a few min... Then they said come in and about 10 min later checked my nr

Did not do the race but I say, scrap all times rather no time than completely the wrong time, surely that makes more sense than a case like Sean where it's completely out, then why try calculate and give times

Well at least they are pretty quick on the email. So just email them and query your result and they will sort it out.

you mean you would actually consider going through all this again?

Well in their defence, the actual race was still fun. I would race there again.

I like their races as well, first time we have had this shambles with the route marking, I'm sure it will be sorted out.

For me it’s straight forward – don’t provide the results to SASEEDING. Why should my Index drop because the errors of the race organisers?

I’ve contacted SASEEDING to ask them to remove the result but they replied and said they only update results and are not responsible for the data.

Will never waste my time at a USN race again!!!
