Important Notice

Last week there was a problem with our database due to a misunderstanding on the part of our hosting company. There was a issue with the backup system (which allows us to make backups of the site's database). An old backup was mistakenly restored which caused the problems on the site. Unfortunately, due to the backup feature not working correctly the most recent backup readily available was from a week ago. This data was being used to develop and test a new, improved system for The Hub SA.

A site update was planned for later next month, however due to the circumstances I was forced to implement the new system along with it's precious data immediately.

Okay, so what does actually this mean?

• NB!!! All posts, private messages and new members since 19 August 2006 are gone.

• Some members avatars may need to be uploaded again.

• New system

  • There may be some bugs hiding away as I have not had time to fully test the system

  • Overall there should be a noticeable increase in page load times (ie. it's FASTER!)

  • There are some other small changes and added functionality

We can only apologise to all members for the "lost week" and will ensure that this doesn't happen again.

If you find any bugs, get strange error messages, or something doesn't work please send me an email (Contact Us) or a PM with the error  message and the url from your address bar.

take your mouse cursor over the latest post area... then scroll ur scroll wheel.....

Gees, i'm truly glad The Hub is back!!!!, i started getting withdrawl symtoms, this place is getting addictive, I never understood old men sitting in there study naked checking out porn sites, now i kinda got a feel for what they go through (And NO! I'm not naked at home in my study, I'm at work!)

Has anybody else noticed the fact that your PM box capacity has DOUBLED in size!  (now you can have up to 40 messages in your PM inbox
