Patchelicious Posted October 20, 2016 Share Couldn't agree more.Gone are the days when everyone thought the day that Rossi leaves, is the day that MotoGP dies.Not sure "everyone" really said that, or is that just something the Rossi haters make up? He been around for 20 years, all things pass. Gone are the days of Kenny, Doohan, Agostini.... Why not rather appreciate what he has done for MotoGP over the last 2 decades. You dont need to like him to respect what he has achieved. To add to that - I was watching the first couple of laps of MotoGP and had to TEAR myself away from the screen shortly after the MM crash to leave in time for training and be back for another engagement... the evening I watched F1 and mercifully fell asleep, only to wake up on the last laps. (Incredible little stat, I nearly fell over when I heard that!) So obviously he is in some sort of form. Not talking about signing him - he was widely mentioned (because of the mentioned form) as the logical rider to step up in DP's place for the couple of races remaining in the season. LC would only have had that much to say - he can't distance himself too much from his supplier. And conversely by doing them a favour... you never know how much good it will do the relationship and "repayment" for such a favour will in all likelihood be very worthwhile. Marquez did remount and recover from 16th to 11th though.The other 2 had DNF's, Iannone was looking good but then lost the plot. I think Ducati were justified in keeping Dovi, he proved that t least. Lets not forget, this should have been win number 2 as he should've won Argentina if it wasn't for The Maniac.Baz also got a 5th on the GP14 Duke, that machine always did like the wet.I am impressed by the Aprilia's, and Bautista.
