Anyone cracked their Chinese import yet?

was just thinking, the old story of chinese frames has been a while now with quite a few people importing directly, cant seem to see/hear of any problems?

mmmmm I know of one. It is about 18 months old...flyxii if I remember correct.

 

JCmeyerSS's boet's frame...he cracked it last weekend on the spruit doing a gap jamp we suspect. He is an animal though and rides his bikes HARD.

 

He is getting it fixed though...two crackes straight through on both chainstays very close the brake caliper mounts....both sides, same place

Still going strong. Mine just finished its 2nd Trans Baviaans. Love the look the bike gets when you stroll into the seeded start cage on a bike that doesn't say Specialized, Giant or Cannondale.

 

And of course got the "So watse soort fiets is daai?" along the route once as we passed some okes on a climb.

It's always lekker when not just the most expensive bikes make a running for the higher runners in a group the bike don't make the rider

was he wearing Assos kit, different colour every day? cause a quick google search brought me to that dude he eventually had to withdraw.
