Wildlife seen in Modderfontein Conservancy

Ride quite a bit at Modder and have seen the following.

 

Duiker

Blesbok

Slender Mongoose

 

Few of the birds.

Fish Eagle

Spotted Eagle Owl

Western Barn Owl

Marsh Owl

African Grass Owl?

Chinspot Batis

European Bee-eater

 

Best time to spot game is on the night ride, very seldom see other riders on the trail on Wednesdays.

 

What have I not seen? Please add your sightings.

Also Zebra and plenty snake holes, them snakes must be huge.

really. wow. I think between my laboured breathing and profanities about what I'm getting myself into, I'm scaring everything away. I've seen a fish eagle before and that's about it. Very cool.

I've seen some pretty wildlife there too, flip she was quick though. put me to shame

 

seen jackal and owls at night, and lots of buck.

There are huge mole snakes there, we saw a dead one, half in the hole. well at least we thought it was dead, didn't stick around to check, I am *** scared of them.
