The 30 - 35 age category seems a bit lame... surely most of the real contenders in this category are racing next weekend, diluting this category at Masters a bit?...

What did the old man think of the course @furbz?

 

he went down and practiced it the last 2 weekends to ensure he was good to go.

funny tho, the piece that they cut out was the piece he rode the smoothest, he said he found the other bits more difficult.

 

but from our discussions he said the course is insane! hard uphills, and very technical. hardest course he has had to compete on by a long way!

Doubt whether this is the case, looking at the starting grid, there were no names that I recocnised, could be wrong.

i also found that odd...I am able to ride the B line there no problem (the A is a bit hectic)...and actually prefer the B line to the C

Just thinking, will these winners ride in UCI world champ stripes next year? Or is that only reserved for the elites?

correct, all of them will have to wear them at every XCO race they enter :)
