What is isoprol alcohol?

Buy from almost any pharmacy, usually kept behind the desk. Standard is 250 or 500ml. Isopropyl alcohol.

It is something none of the pharmacies that I have been to stock.

But what chippo said, the stuff that alcohol swabs are soaked in, except in a bottle with no swabs

 

Bacause it is to dangerous to transport. they can order it but most people like UPS etc dont risk transporting it due to the flamable nature

Water is drinkable.... so is pool acid... BUT NOT ADVISABLE TO DRINK.. every so often some tjop decides it it a good way to off themselves with pool acid.... and trust me on this one - it is NOT...

 

Back to the ispropyl alchohol.... those small squirt bottles from plasticland work really well to minimise the amount you spray around.

+1 on the spray bottles from plastics warehouse, they work like a bomb.

 

As for drinking it, feel free. You'll most likely go blind and smell like a bergie, but it's entirely up to you...

but yeah......you could drink it if you REALLY wanted too......and as mentioned above, it will make you go blind and die....probabaly in that specific order. Will give you one hell of a skop first though.......and one hell of a babbelas (its 90-odd % alchohol after all)

It's like R40/50 for 500ml. Put it in a cheap spray bottle. Get some Nitrile gloves (the blue ones) from Dischem too (approx R70-80 for 100) and tadaah... you'll feel like a pro when you clean and fix your bike

It's like R40/50 for 500ml. Put it in a cheap spray bottle. Get some Nitrile gloves (the blue ones) from Dischem too (approx R70-80 for 100) and tadaah... you'll feel like a pro when you clean and fix your bike

 

And it is great for putting on raw blisters too.... definitely one to make the eyes water...
