... UNITE!!

Listen up medium-to-large travel Spruit riders..

...trek aan your baggies. Double knot the laces on your flats. reset your sag markers, and go to this FB page to let Ryan and Dave know that you're keen on an 'Enduro Class' at the Gauteng Thaba DH race.

We all moan that there is no enduro scene in Gauteng... well this is the kinda place where it'll start! So express your interest, make yourself heard and with some luck the organizers will create an Enduro Class for you to ride your spruit bikes.

go on... give it a whirl!

The whole course is ridable on an AM bike. There are B-lines around the big stuff, as well as flatish pedally sections.

Those that have their big kohonas in their baggies can hit the big stuff. Thse that don't can take the B lines and try make up for it on the pedally.

It's also an excuse to wear your full face lids (although *I wouldn't say essential if you plan on B lines and pedalling hard).

*actual rules on enduro class helmet type will be up to the organizers. I'm just saying.

And no 29'er lycra clad posers allowed.

why the hell not

...but seriously... disciplines like enduro and DH will never grow if those involved in other varients don't get to give it a whirl.

So baggies, lycra, jeans, speedo... 20",26", 29", 27.5"... doesn't matter!

just note that speedos offer very little crash and UV protection

Dammit I was about to ask if you could ride it on a 29er in Lycra with spd's!

Well Google is a massive 29er-lycra-SPD fan and he'll be there!
