You cape epic okes keep their stickers on their bikes for ten years.. Doubt someone will want to part with their medal.

 

If you've lost yours.. why not contact the event I'm sure they will give you a new one for an exhorbitent fee

What happened to badges? In the 80s we got badges

had a double bed blanket full of badges lekker for round the camp fire.

I still have some from the early Nineties...

I have donated most of my medals to CHOC. Children with cancer. Only kept Comrades , Two Oceans. Cape Town tour and a few special marathon medals. CHOC are always looking for medals which are handed to the children after they have completed chemo treatment

Here's mine, not including the medals from Deloitte Cycle Challenge and Tour Durban from earlier this year.

First pic is mostly from mtb over the years, with some road medals. Second pic is medals from road events that I plan on doing again.

At the moment, I have my mtb medals in a plastic bag which I have stored in one of our bedroom cupboards. I keep the medals from the second pic on display for motivation.

I have an old stem and handlebar combo that I have mounted on the wall in the pub, works for me. Unfortunately lots of medal gatherers in the family

That's actually a lekker idea. I have a spare handlebar at home which I could use for the medals

I give all my medals to the pig that lives in the corner of my study.
