I really hope this story has a happy ending.

They are rare and super shy animals. They are completely harmless and have only been known to kill small mammals up to 15% of their own body size. So max would be a spring or scrub hare. Their diet consists of mainly scavenging, small vertebrates and insects.

Such beautiful creatures.

Does your wife know you call such an animal "beautiful"?

I gave a high-pitched-girl-like scream on Sunday when a buck ran towards me, I dont want to know how I will scream with this thing coming towards me. Animals love me for some reason and the love isnt always mutual unfortunatly.

I will be on high alert this afternoon when I go for me ride.

Very shy animals... but not totally harmless, in the wild Brown Hyena dominates Leopard and Cheetah. Avg. weight around 40g but can be up to 75kg...

Aardwolf on the other hand is totally harmless.

Are brown hyenas pack or solo animals?
