I broke my forearm yesterday afternoon going otb, getting 2 Ti plates on monday. Bone punctured through my arm so had to have 2 surgerys to straighten the bone and clean arm...only be able to race again next year.

Thanks, i was doing brake checks well riding a jump line. Front brake locked up when i braked lightly for a corner just after i landed off a jump. My wrist got bent at 70 degrees and the bone made a nice puncture. They also cutted my fav mx top up to get to wrist. Had a dh race this weekend and was testing my bike after rebuild. Well now im in a hostoptil. Doc said i can start ride light xc in 6 weeks so least i can ride a bit

Ouch, Heal up before you ride. Dont try too soon.

Thanks, i won't be riding a Dh bike till july. I'll☺ only get on a bike after 9 weeks to be safe. Just gonna use a trainer in the meantime and keep my fitness up and physio therapy
