Cyclist mugged and shot yesterday afternoon close to Woodlands

In that case whoever slated you should go and take out all the murdering pillaging cyclists that cycle past there ... cause that is in essence what they're implying...

 

Slate no slate, wont make it any better but I think rocking up there couple of K strong even without doing anything but being there will be 1. Intimidating 2. get the metro's attention as every road there for a few Kms will be blocked like anything.

 

Start a mass ride through the two townships mentioned ... hehehe or a ma se ride

 

This might not be a bad idea. Like a petition ride. We can get all the newspapers that stated their interest to cover the petition. Maybe ride from the scene to the Garsfontein police station and hand over a mandate where we demand action. I mean we do have a right to protection. That's what we are paying for.

Great Idea!!!! But we must immediately use whatever legal means necessary to ensure that everyone knows about this. To organise such a ride involve applications to be lodged with the local authority and so forth, ahich will take another two weeks and, at the current rate, 8 more attacks.

The same as with the farm murders. We will be attending the funeral of loved ones in Barkly East tomorrow. The Government is just not serious about whites being slaughtered.

If I look at the general perception of motorists towards cyclists and motorcyclists on news24 I would say we are lucky not to have roving mobs trying to lynch us at ever turn. its the wild west out there folks. be careful and be safe.

Did the cops even try and get a description from you to identify the scum?

(I know it happened fast etc. but did they make a effort when they spoke to you?)

No statement was taken. I was under the impression that any gun shot wound reported at a hospital had to be reported and investigated by the police??.....well does not look like it! And no my bike was not insured.

Make sure to mention the police action to all media when they speak to you.

 

We need to fix 2 problems, try and stop these attacks, and 2nd, get focus on the inept attitude of the local police.

No statement was taken. I was under the impression that any gun shot wound reported at a hospital had to be reported and investigated by the police??.....well does not look like it! And no my bike was not insured.

All cyclist be aware of these criminals!!!!!! I am lucky to be alive today. The first bullet was fired at point blank range as I passed the two criminals. The powder burns are all around the entry wound. This bullet went through my arm and out the other side.
