Frosty Posted July 4, 2014 Posted July 4, 2014 According to the cyclingnews.com app, Sunday's stage has as much climbing as an Alpine stage, but spread over the entire route instead of in one or two big climbs. When I see stages like this, I think of Gilbert, Bettini, Valverde, Purito and a few others, perhaps even Rui Costa (classic one day specialists). Most of the GC contenders won't want to be wearing yellow this early, so it could be a one-day specialist that wins, if they can get into a break.
