Is Magoebaskloof absolute hill phobic friendly?

I'm heading there for a wedding in November, figured I could take my bike along but now I believe it's hills and more hills. I don't really want to lug my bike along all the way for a walk up the hills.

Take a good look at the ground before you go, all you are going to see is sky as you climb those monster mountains.

 

No seriously, better MTB riding you will not find.

All you have to keep in mind is "slow and steady". If you are going to attack each hill all out you will not enjoy your ride. This is one of the best areas for mountain biking, especially around the Haenertsburg area. Look at the following link.

There are other routes around the dam and others which are a lot flatter, you don't have to head up into Mount Merrick and Woodbush areas. Take your bike along, you wont regret it. Magoebaskloof tourism has marked routes now: http://www.magoebasklooftourism.co.za/mountain-biking.php
