If one distributor doesn't have stock, inform the client and call another distributor. EASY Also AFAIK, black spokes are more expensive so both the distributor and the LBS are getting more if they apply the same % mark up. Thomo Posted November 8, 2013 Share Apparently alternative sources were tried without success.Black spokes are indeed more expensive, but because no silver were alvailable, they were willing to give these at silver prices.Doesn't solve the problem of different coloured wheels though, and rebuiling a perfectly good wheel seems so unnecessary.
