I have 3 pairs of assos .Mille and uno comfort level the same ,but mille will last longer .Recently acquired vermarc bibs and I am impressed with them also .Vermarc is a tight fitting short ,so don,t order the smaller size for tight fit .If you are 36 ,then order 36 .they will fit tightly .To answer your Q .Yes! assos is worthwhile !

I've seen a pair of santini shorts purchased a few months ago and have been looking worse for wear... Luckily they belong to my brother in law so he's the guinea pig! He also has a pair of giordanas that he swears by...

Of all the Internet searches and reviews, the assos get major props for long lasting and great comfort...

With a current market deal, I'm thinking two pairs of unos for 3k will be the way to go..

Just holding thumbs they have stock!

No no, only black!

Hahahaha I'm not a fan of seeing other people's sweaty cracks through white bibs, so in won't be showing off mine...

Why do they even make them in white anyway?

This.

This is why I love the hub.

Thanks guys, will be purchasing my first expensive as f*** cycle bibs this week, and hey, if all goes well, tomorrow!

But keep the suggestions up, never know if there's anyone out there who needs more convincing!

You could try Pearl Izumi too - they make some very nice kit - not in the Assos league, but very good indeed.

Despite having a ton of Craft kit, I am never buying it again - very comfortable, but does NOT last - unlike Assos... and at 2300 a bib, it would be nice if it lasted at least 2 seasons..

Santini and De Marchi are good, but I have not found the De Marchi to be worth the price.

Ftech carbon bibs are my favourites, Italian at a much better price and feel.
