I HATE PAPERWORK! <_<

But check how funny is this one! (well if you are like me and find the humour in everything)

So today we had a meeting at work stating we have to 'pull up our socks' regarding safety and this mean filling in a form before starting our work in the morning!!!

.........all because some oke switched on a xray machine remotely without going to check if the machine is still in tact (like all the panels on, etc) :nuke: Just stupid I think!

Check the questions in the star (I added) though...Especially nr3!! :w00t:

So we were sitting in the meeting, about 30 men and 2 ladies and when they read that, I was the one to burst out laughing and say "isn't that getting a bit personal?"

So what formal 'SAFETY' procedures do you have to follow daily?

Omygosh...isn't it great when the ISO / NOSA / Safety types start to run ruin get in the way interfere with the way a company works?

If there is ever an example of a self serving job creating industry its the world of safety

Rant over

I worked at NOSA. Safety is necessary and not a joke. It really should be taken very seriously.

Tevez. I am in construction and safety is paramount. BUT with everything something can be taken to the extreme!

Wow I'm glad I don't work in that type of environment, the only safety concern my colleagues need to worry about each morning is whether Uni has had coffee.

You can specify how many times you woke up for a No. 1 and a No.2

that's ridiculous.

Spoken like a true NOSA  .......no offense meant.

I get it, to a point your right. I've worked with and without NOSA / ISO and various safety systems for the aviation industry and know exactly what you mean BUT Safety at work does get exploited in some cases to the point of ridiculousness like in Haley's example.

Elaborate on the ridiculousness you are referring to.
