Swapping my knoblies to slicks on Saturday in preparation for Die Burger, my back wheel was wobbling like a drunken master . This being left a tad bit late, I called Trail and Tar and explained. The young gentleman said bring it in and they will see what they can do, 15 min later it was sorted.

I had a similar problem on Saturday.

Popped in at Crown Cycles @ 12:45 (they close @ 13:00) and and Mark quickly sorted me out.

Moral of the story:

While online shopping may get you good prices occassionally, it will never provide you great face to face service.

Establish a relationship with your LBS.

It's well worth it.!

Same here one of the best bike shops IMO just because of their great service. i went in with a bent chainring, they fixed it on the spot. No charge.... and i was back on the trails.... isn't that amazing!!! its like they've got loooovve for their fellow cyclists hey.

Another for Trail and Tar... full workshop but still managed to squeeze me in. Servicing costs there are super reasonable.
