Done. Cascades. Multiple times. No hassles.

Actually I hear the Crazy German. Got thrown around on a rocky section in Giba, very uncomfortable! Lowered the tyre pressure a bit and found it a lot better. Ended up at 0.55 bar on the front after starting off at 0.75. Still huge fun either way

These things are made to run between 5 - 8 psi (0.35 - 0.55 bar), so now you're spot on.

Took me a while too. I started out at a higher pressure thinking a compact surfaces locally (as opposed to snow and sand) would require it. My 'go to' bike is a rigid SS so I'm used running lower than normal pressures and riding rigid. I quickly realised that these fat tyres are simply best run at the above ultra low pressures. The strong side walls seem to combat any 'roll' one would expect and at these low pressure they provide all the 'suspension' I need. As I said though, I'm used riding with no suspension fork.

Silverback appear to have won the local fat bike war based on looks. First 'budget' fat that appeals to me.

That's my opinion also!!

And at a very good price with not too bad components!!!

That FatCat doesn't look like a very robust ride.

Like it was designed to cruise waterfronts and beaches. Has a very "urban" vibe.

I think that is exactly what they were going for.  As far as I know there will be a Momsen fat bike as well which will be higher end and suitable for trail riding.
