Had a jol of a 50km ride the other day.

Loads of fun on my Fatty

Stripped off the 10spd Type2 X9 , 10spd cassette & shifter and rather put on a a cheaper 9spd set with medium cage X7 and made a makeshift chainguide to increase tension a bit.

Too lekke;)

Also had some fun along a long stretch of coast line with some exposed reef at night with full moon.

Too nice

Hey Hubbers. Need some assistance / info from the Tubeless fat bike crowd.. struggling to seat my 4.7" tubeless ready Vee rubber tyres on some 100mm rims. Done the gorilla tape rim strip,  pre inflate with a tube and only remove one side of the bead, but just can't seem to get the air in from the compressor fast enough. any help or info would be appreciated. Thanks.

Has anyone ridden a fatboy with a suspension fork? (Bluto) have read amazing reviews online...

I do. Often. It works well. I am no expert but I think fatty tires only have undamped "absorption" - they tend to bounce up on rocks and roots. With the shock it does not happen.

You wish you had a fat bike for our stage race. It was like riding along the beach.
