Older Posted February 20, 2008 Posted February 20, 2008 Hi With the dangers of cycling in mind (vehicles etc) but with the potential pleasure of listening to nice music whilst cycling I was wondering how many of you are listening to music whilst cycling. L2climb2008-02-20 02:58:51
Saffa_G Posted February 20, 2008 Posted February 20, 2008 only listen when i am safely not going to be ridden over, like on a remote dirt road away from any dangers....
Evan Andreou Posted February 20, 2008 Posted February 20, 2008 Stopped when a car gave me a "hows your father" two years ago.I may have heard him if I hadn't had the ipod onMaybe not but why take chances?
Christie Posted February 20, 2008 Posted February 20, 2008 Left eary tuned to Ipod, right ear tuned to truks/busses/cars driven by idiots.
MintSauce Posted February 20, 2008 Posted February 20, 2008 Have been listening on road and MTB, but feel so nervous on the road these days that I've kinda decided to leave the ipod at home when I'm do road. Miss the music though!
Iwan Kemp Posted February 20, 2008 Posted February 20, 2008 Do the voices in my head count? In this case, only if they are singing! I don't listen to music while out cycling. On the road I consider it to be unsafe and on gravel I'd much rather enjoy the peace and quiet than to listen to another oak's or gal's aches and pains.
Bikalot Posted February 20, 2008 Posted February 20, 2008 Left eary tuned to Ipod' date=' right ear tuned to truks/busses/cars driven by idiots.[/quote'] yip thats what i do to
Tumbleweed Posted February 20, 2008 Posted February 20, 2008 weren't mtbsa gonna ban mp3 players from racing this year?
Spinnekop Posted February 20, 2008 Posted February 20, 2008 Music FULL BLAST not hearing ANYTHING or ANYONE!Quite a rush when they pass so close at 120km/h with a 15ton truck. I will be walking through the pearly gates still humming:"We....will...♫.....We wil......♪.ROCK YOU!"
AndreZA Posted February 20, 2008 Posted February 20, 2008 Only when I ride alone and then it is very soft and can still hear everythign else perfectly.
Nancy Drew Posted February 20, 2008 Posted February 20, 2008 I'm also guilty when I'm on the road (unless I have company) Only listen on my MTB when I'm doing a REAAAALLLLY long ride.
