Lou Zealand Posted December 17, 2013 Share LONDON (AP) The UCI says Team Sky rider Jonathan Tiernan-Locke faces a doping hearing after discrepancies in his biological passport.Tiernan-Locke, who joined Sky after winning the 2012 Tour of Britain, withdrew from Britain's team at the world championships this year because of the UCI investigation.The UCI said in a statement that an analysis of his biological passport showed "use of prohibited substances and/or methods."The UCI has asked British Cycling to open disciplinary proceedings against the former Endura team rider. Would be interesting to see how they handle this considering their extremely strict policy. Talking about their policy, why would they sign a guy with a doping investigation?
