Notice to hubbers: I recently bought an XT Crank from a lady who's profile name is "love2cycle!" which was advertised as "new". I received it today and found that there is serious damage to the thread on left crank arm. 4 of the teeth on the big blade are also damaged. None of this was mentioned during the sale. So, beware when buying from "love2cycle!".

As suggested by 'dale please post this on the user's trader feedback page: https://www.bikehub.co.za/index.php?app=hubmarket&module=core&section=traders&do=add_feedback

This way it is made more apparent to users who do not frequent the forums.

No calves - ease up on the personal attacks. Next time the warning will not be a polite one.

What did the seller say about the item not being as described?

I know it's a bit of a grovel going to ask the seemingly obviously morally challenged seller what's up with the condition of the item they sent but often they see the wrong in what they have done and make amends, either by a large discount or a full refund.

You have to first get over the inertia of the feeling that engaging any further with the seller is just going mean diving into more BS but it's worth a try and if the seller comes through for you it neutralizes that nasty taste in your mouth. But do be careful as the BS may not end...

simple ask for a refund. IMO not simple at all. Something was advertised. The OP paid money for it as new. It arrived as a used and damaged item. We try to do honest business here, this is not honest business. The seller should be banned. In anycase probably a one post wonder.

I agree with you to the fully mcguyver.
