Undun Posted February 9, 2014 Share Hi Ryan.I have avid 5 brakes.Which bike shop by personal preference bleeds Avid brakes right. perfectly.I have been to two bike shops in jhb both have bled the avids like S..TI swopped brakes because of this exact bleeding issue.Thanks. I just used two syringes, some brake fluid and some plastic tubing and a couple of sprinkler fittings (literally a couple of rand). The video was on Pink Bike I think. Do it yourself - not difficult Get yourself the "Avid Professional Bleed Kit" a bit expensive but a great tool Google is your friend plenty of help on web I will not let LBS touch my brakes.
