Anyone no where I can get a route profile for the 30km?

Not sure if the route is the same, but I should have garmin profile from june 2013 race. I'll try to find tomorrow and post link.

Can not believe that the 30km reached its limit so quickly. Wanted to enter my son for the 30km only to see entry limit reached. As for the route profile there are two routes and both are easy not much climbing and not to technical.

Not Yet, Waiting for frame in the post still, had to be sent to UK from the states, and then to the netherlands to be shipped to SA, currently it's in transit. Cant wait anymore at all.

Will be riding it on my 26 inch hack.

Last time i rode from unseeded position and although there was some congestion, it was not too bad. I was expecting some congestion but it was not too bad after all.

If you start with the first batch there should not be any congestion, the first couple of km's is a mad sprint for position anyways.

 

Im doing it for fun, and am not worried about position.

Used to love these races but waiting to park, waiting to collect number, getting to pen 45 mins before start etc has ruined it for me. Alas these races are a victim of their own success - great races arranged by great people - just too many people now.

 

For 2014 I'm gonna be hitting the "non franchised" races...
