Fast R Posted January 15, 2014 Posted January 15, 2014 So, I bought my Titan carbon 29er middle last year, great bike. In December the frame failed and broke at the chainstay.....? What now.......? Within two days the supplier committed to replace my frame, and in the meantime offered a full race spec bike on loan untill my bike is re built! So, in anyones books... this is awesome service. Big Hoooorah! to the Titan team.

Mets Posted January 15, 2014 Posted January 15, 2014 That is great to hear - I bought myself the 29 Race Pro in October 2012 and the joy it has brought me cannot be matched. I previously had a Mongoose and had a real fight to get a cracked frame replaced via Omnico.
Eldron Posted January 15, 2014 Posted January 15, 2014 Frames break. Agreed. Always a failure rate in any product we buy - the judgement is in how they fix the problem. I've mainly heard good things about Titan. Great value for money if a little porky on the scales.

rpedro Posted January 15, 2014 Posted January 15, 2014 I'm also on my 2nd frame and they also replaced my frame no questions asked. The weakness of the frame is due to them not having metal plate to protect the frame against chain suck. Plate should be located on the chainstay between the crank blades and the frame like with many other frames I'm now running 1x10 setup with type 2 derailleur so hopefully no more chain suck. Also my bike weighs in under 10kgs including pedals and all other accessories.
