MY life wont be complete until I do this event: hopefully this year. Nice time for KZN and the coast as well.

Good thing you didn't go last year, it would have put you off for life, Fri and Sat were horrible, Sun was bearable but pretty wet. Still had a great time though, my bike didn't

I'm hoping there will be no rain this year

looking at bringing the family up to karkloof(form Hillcrest) for a ride today at about 11am.

Can anyone let me know if the weather is good and the track dry?

Rained all day yesterday. It was very slippery last weekend and will probably be worse today. It's rideable and actually a lot of fun, testing your skills and changing the trails that we're so used to, but I wouldn't suggest the current conditions for a fun family morning out...

Lying!

Friday was super fun!

Saturday I wanted to cry, but laugh at it now.

Sunday was a good ride out, would have been better if I wasnt running with the 36t up front up those hills....would love to ride those trails now though!

I think I'll do night race, Enduro and Half.

We (Peach and I) did those last year too. I will again.

I think they should give a 'special goody bag' to the people that enter all 3....(last year brake pads would have been great)

I really do want to do this event again, but only if it is dry! I don't really want to go through the trauma of throwing away another bicycle (Slippery singletrack inbetween hard trees is a dangerous combo).

but but but... that incident caused you to end up with your awesome new 27.5 trance!

no no no...that incident caused him to end up with a 29er...which he then realised is crap and that caused him to end up with a 27.5 trace :)

I think they should also have a category for people that complete all 3, add their times or positions?

Yes, you are right...

The 29er was a traumatic experience for me.

edit: in fact, if I still had it, I would be looking for a new tree to crash into.
