A set of these....

...and trying to run them tubeless. Used them for 10km in a 75km race and (multiple) punctured both tyres. Had to be casevac'ed by the sweeper vehicles. Binned the buggers when I got home.

i run the Geax Suagaro. absolutely love them. actually getting a new rear fitted today! (tubeless) ran 1000km plus on them. had about 3 punctures that needed plugs, had 2 on the herald this weekend, but that i blame due to them being tired and massive elephant thorns!!

maybe its cos you got the WHITE?!?! ones? who buys white tyres? (i secretely want them now)

Ja, all you guys moaning about the IDTs are just soft. You don't get an IDT because you're going to enjoy it, you get it because you're a masochist. As millions of cyclists before me have said: HTFU.

It takes someone with brass balls to sit on that thing for hour upon hour to improve his seeding from D to A ;)

I left the standard Alex rims on my 1st Scott MTB. 2months later going over a small bump on xco course, the whole rim pretzeled on me. i ate dirt, fractured wrist, bloody everywhere! changed to stans. dfidnt happen again! on alex rims now on current bike though (stans got expensive in last year!)

now i wait for a fall and insurance haha

Or in my case stay in D without slipping down further, I see it as a necessary evil for rainy and very cold and miserable days.

Conti X king protection 26" x 2.4 - why they rip ppl R800 for a tyre that leaks through the sidewalls is a mystery to me. took me 3 weeks to get the bloody thing to seal and after 4 rides it warped and had permanent wobble.

maxxis detonator road tyres.

crank bros joplin seatpost

anything by ravx.

Most USN products. Might as well have been riding with water only.

Also had a Geax tyre on my rear wheel a couple of years ago. It lasted less than 6 months.

I also bought a Scicon handlebar phone bag. Stupid move.

My biggest regret however was spending money on bike services at Hot Spot Cycles. Screwed over without dinner... numerous times!

A specialized Toupe 155mm saddle. Did the Ass-o-meter thing - Yes sir, you need a 155mm saddle. You sure? My Selle Italia is a 143mm? Definitely sir, you have wide sit-bones. Three rides later and it's lying in the cupboard, and I'm back on a 143mm Flite......

I hear you brother! In the spirit of HR training i just tried a 3hr LSR @ 60%.... seriously. even watching good movies while doing it becomes a chore.

The problem is that the shop assistants don't understand the assometer, they miss that important little part where it recommends the width based on the fact that you may be a sport or recreational cyclist.

USN Epic pro.

Tasted like vomit.

Gave me shivers.

Funny post this.

I hear many people say this, just to find out they mixed way too much powder in the water, the scoop in the tub is bigger than they recommend you put in, and people simply assume that they are putting the correct quantities in.

It's a bit like the wife wanting two sugars in her coffee and one uses a tablespoon to fulfill her wish.

I once purchased a pair of neoprene overshoes to wear over my work shoes in rain. Near worthless efficacy at keeping rain out, anything more than light drizzle and they'll eventually soak through. Even in drizzle more than half an hour will see them damp through. These days I place a plastic packet over work shoes, and then the overshoes over the packets so I don't look like a total idiot, but packets ftw if you want dry shoes.
