Eddy Mercx won numerous TDF on a steel bike. If he can do it, so can u.

Okes (and some chicks too) are gonna *** off trying to hold your wheel.

I'm gonna wheelsuck in your group for sure. Unless Travis is in it, then maybe not. I'm coming to ride, not get klapped.

I am in that group because of Carpet, so she better step up to the plate on race day.

No excuses and no snot and trane .

Anybody want to Offer some Advice for a Out of towner?

What is the route like?

Can I use my SS?

Should I bring my camelbak , or will I manage with my 2 small bottles?

Choices for guy from the mother city!

For you, easy.

Yes

No and yes

The end.

Agree with CAAD4 on these...

The route is probably similar in difficulty to the Argus... It has more hills and total elevation gain than the Argus, but the hills aren't as long and the shorter race distance will mean less time on the bike.

Leave the Camelbak but I'd recommend one big and one small bottle.

AND welcome to Joburg! :)

Heaven forbid you lose your water bottle like you did a couple years back at Argus and want us to all look out for it again. Sorry bro. So I'll say go with the camelbak  ;) .

Sorry I remember now - you lost your wig. Some other okie lost his lucky waterbottle. My bad  .

What you say, the race is in Two weeks?

I was told it is next weekend?

How can I ride with 2 different size bottles, that is going change the center point of gravity?

Why you Jozi guys all of sudden so friendly, I don't trust You guys?

What are saying, who is going to loosing a water bottle?

I don't have a Wig!

I don't understand you Guys!

Die Antie gaan jou switch en stitch.......!

Nie sommer nie.

Even if we take his one crank arm off he will still ride light years into me.

Now that I've done 80% of the new route, I must admit that I really like it, a lot.

Although having to negotiate traffic in the "north" is not my idea of fun.

I'm sure the organisers don't just have a plan A with no backup plan in case the final section is not built in time.

What do people think plan 'B' would be, considering they stick with the new start line and have to end in the same area? Is here any way through Dainfern?
