If you've done 10 or more don't stand in the queue for the batch number line but go directly to the "special numbers" line

This year will be number 10... Which queue?

Still my specific groups queue?

The year they introduced the coloured numbers was my 10th, and I got yellow. If I were I would take a chance and go straight to that special queue

Do we need to have our timing chips to collect our numbers/goodie bags? It's a long drive for me. The barcode form does not say anything about what else i need with me.

Also can you pick up other people's stuff if you have their barcodes?

No chip necessary to pick up number, you can also pick up other numbers as well.

Also can you pick up other people's stuff if you have their barcodes? Yes, unless they're licensed riders (vets, elites, juniors) in which case you need their licence too.

If it is the 10th you are riding you would still receive the regular number, the special number is for having completed 10 i.e riding 11th or more. Last year was my 11th and the 1st time i received a yellow number.

Standing in the queue - not that busy [emoji1]

Oh, and I heard a lot of *noobs asking if the queues/lines are according to your start group or your surname.

I don't know many people that have surnames starting with BB, CC, DD, EE, etc.

Anyway, the lines/queues are batch number based on your barcode letter.

* my assumption

I've got yellow from No.10 onwards

Gerald if my mate sends me the downloaded license and I print that out along with his registration details should that work?

Their new barcoding system is a mess. When we went there were no queues this morning and we waited almost 10 minutes for the guys the scan 2x barcodes with the tablets, no proper scanner attached so they must focus the barcode first using the camera before the system picks up the entry...The guy next to us' barcode didn't work and he waited for 30 minutes to get it resolved, remember there was with no queues....Then once they collect your race pack and number they scan the envelope with the same barcode AGAIN using their low budget way of scanning barcodes.

Tomorrow and Saturday will be a mess if they don't go back using the old method!!!

Be warned!

Should work - but don't confuse the CSA membership with a RACING licence.

The RACING licence requirement is only for Elites, VA, VB, VC, Juniors, etc.

Edit: if your mate is starting any time from 6:20 onwards then you only need the barcode letter.
